Sorry for not being as active as I am at GameSpot and YouTube. Here's the deal. I've been catching up on a lot of work at school, plus I don't want to rush my videos. I hope you guys forgive me in the end. I'm working on two videos at the moment, one Banjo-Kazooie video and a video for GTA Legends. I'm going to release them both simultaneously to please the GameSpot croud and my YouTube subscribers. The GTA Legends Recruitment video is 75% completed and the Banjo-Kazooie video is 25% completed. I've been testing out some new video editing techniques in Sony Vegas. And I hope the Recruitment video doesn't seem outdated.
Video game Playthroughs – probably not going to happen. I said in one of my prvious blogs, "I always need to be a step ahead." Well.. recording playthroughs is taking a step back! No offense to any playthroughers at YouTube but anyone can film themself playing a video game. You just need the right tools. Playthroughing requires no skill at all. You just record, save, upload. Also, playthroughs aren't "original." I'm trying to make my channel at YouTube revolve around original content that actually requires skill and editing, not some sap playing through a 5 year old game.
On another note, school is almost out! I can fianlly get a lot of things finished around here. I have a lot to catch up on at GTA Legends like the character battle, respect system. and the union interface.
Also, I need your guys' opinions. One of my relatives wants to buy my old Pokemon Card collection, stashed inside a shoe box in closet, for $100. Yes, thousands pieces of useless cardboard for $100. But what should I buy? Here's a list of games I thought of:
Mario Party 8 for Wii – Party game for Wii.
Burnout Revenge for Xbox 360.
Table Tennis for Xbox 360.
Ridge Racer 6 for Xbox 360.
Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition
All of the above are released or are going to be released soon.
Or do you recommend any others? I like Rhythm games aka games that require to to press a button at a certain time. I haven't seen any 2d platformers but if you know any I haven't played then just comment below. I like platformer games that require you to get a certain amount of items to open another level. I like playing RPG's like Pokemon, Chrono Trigger, Star Ocean, Final Fantasy 11, Phantasy Star BUT they must not have monthly fees. Explosions. I already have the money to buy R4 for DS, but not to play illegal games though. What kind of person do you think I am?
…or should I just keep the $100 and save cash from there and buy:
Blue Dragon
DDR Hottest Party
Grand Theft Auto IV
Super Smash Bros Brawl
Super Mario Galaxy
Assassins Creed
Soul Calibur Legends
So if you know any games that might interest me, please comment.
